By the 1st of the year I should have details of where and when these pictures were taken, below is part of email I received from her skipper.....................

Yes, it is big.  We use to have a bunch (hundreds) of small boats/ships in the Army.  Since the 80's we have cut that number down considerably, but we have built some larger ones.  The Loux is of the largest class we now have and they are called Logistic Support Vessels, hence the LSV designation for all of them.  We can fit a company of tanks on them.  I have to take off for an exercise and cannot do the research on Mrs. Loux's location till I get back.  My best guess is I'll get to it during the week after Christmas...MJW
